01 · Say it
Write it the way you’d say it to a friend.
A conversation you want, broad or specific, or one you could give. Not sure yet? Akin asks a few questions and suggests one.
Tell Akin who you want to talk with and why. It finds someone who wants the same conversation, then opens a private one-to-one chat.
How it works01 · Say it
A conversation you want, broad or specific, or one you could give. Not sure yet? Akin asks a few questions and suggests one.
02 · Check it
Keep what matters exact and let the rest flex. If a match differs, you see where before you say yes.
03 · Match
Akin sends it to whoever fits best. They see your first name, a blurred photo and why Akin thought of them, then say yes or pass, no reason needed.
04 · Talk
A private chat opens. Akin tells each of you who the other is and offers a few ways to start, then steps back, and your request stays open for the next person.

Private by design
Before a chat, a request shows only what is needed to understand it: the request, a first name, a blurred photo and a rough area. Photos, exact places and the chat stay private until both people say yes. What you tell Akin stays with Akin: another person sees only what a request shows.

Before any chat
The goal is simply this: a conversation both people were glad to have.
Questions
Any adult with a conversation in mind, broad or specific, inside any kind of community: a coworking space, a sports club, a course, an online group. The examples above show the range.
A chat opens only after you both say yes. Until then, the other person sees your request, your first name, a blurred photo and a rough area, and nobody ever sees a last name. If someone crosses a line, leave, block or report them: Akin won’t match the two of you again, and every report is reviewed.
Yes. Akin is an AI you chat with. It asks a few questions to understand who you want to talk with, shows what it understood as a card, and starts looking only once you approve it. It never guesses sensitive traits, such as health, religion or sexuality.
What helps it find people for you, filed under About you, which nobody you meet sees. You can remove any of it. Someone else only sees what a request showed them. Sensitive topics stay inside a request you approve and go when you close it, and Akin’s messages are deleted after 30 days.
Akin keeps looking and tells you as soon as someone says yes. If nobody fits, it asks whether to widen what can differ, and people who offered to talk about it, or have lived it, can say yes too.
No. Tell Akin what you could talk about, and it sends you requests from people who want that conversation; it can also think of you from what you’ve told it. You say yes or pass each time, and you can ask Akin for fewer whenever you like.
No. Akin is for one specific conversation you both want: comparing notes, hearing lived experience, thinking something through. Akin isn’t for hiring, selling, fundraising, or dating.
